A La Carte Lessons FAQ

Who are A La Carte Lessons for?

A La Carte Lessons are designed for riders who want flexibility — people who travel, have inconsistent schedules, or simply want to try riding before committing to a structured monthly program.

Do I need prior riding experience?

No. A La Carte Lessons are available for all levels, including complete beginners. All new riders start with an Evaluation Lesson.

Do I need my own horse?

No — we have a variety of horses that are each trained for lessons at all levels.

How often can I ride?

You can ride as often as our schedule permits. We recommend riding at least twice per month.

How is this different from the Riding School?

The Riding School is a monthly tuition-based format designed for riders who want consistent, recurring lessons with priority scheduling.

How do I transition to the Riding School?

Easy, just let us know you are ready to make the switch. Many Riding School riders start with A La Carte Lessons and then transition to Riding School once they are able to commit to regularly scheduled riding lessons.
